

We’re inviting kids ages 5–17 to create an original design that celebrates the power of afterschool programs! This is an opportunity for young artists to showcase their creativity and share what afterschool means to them.
Whether it’s through art, imagination, or personal experiences, we want youth to help us show how afterschool programs inspire, empower, and bring communities together!

Design Contest Rules & Submission Information
Eligibility:

Open to youth ages 5 –17.

Designs must be original artwork created by the participant.
Design Requirements:

Artwork should celebrate the power of afterschool programs and highlight creativity, learning, friendship, teamwork, and community.

Designs must include an element that represents the Paso del Norte region (El Paso, TX; Las Cruces, NM; or Ciudad Juárez, MX), such as local culture, landmarks, landscapes, traditions, or other features that reflect our unique border community.

Designs may be created using any medium (drawing, painting, digital design, etc.).

Keep designs appropriate for all ages.
Submission Information:

Submit your original design by September 11, 2026.

Include the participant’s name, age, and contact information.

All submissions must be clear and high-quality for review.
