We are pleased to present the BOOST Network Kids Night Out & Lights on Afterschool Event Series presented by the BOOST Network, a partnership of the United Way of El Paso County and Paso del Norte Health Foundation. The BOOST Network is a hub for out-of-school time (OST) providers that work together to identify, explore, and create opportunities that increase the quality and effectiveness of afterschool programs for youth and families in the communities of West Texas, Southern New Mexico, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

The BOOST Network merged both endeavors creating The Kids Night Out & Lights on Afterschool Event Series to increase the number of children and youth participating in providing them with events and opportunities on both sides of the border. The event series are scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at UTEP’s Sun Bowl for the UTEP vs. NMSU game, AND on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Estadio Olimpico Benito Juarez for the FC Juarez Bravos vs. Pachuca game. The children and youth attending will not only enjoy a fun night out. Still, they will be exposed to experiences that will foster and spark their interest in higher education and partake in high-quality team- sport events.

In addition to the sports events, we are coordinating three (3) events with BOOST members to host fun and engaging Fall Carnivals to celebrate and call attention to the importance of OST programs for our communities.

Spring into Summer

Summer programs are important for the health and growth of youth in our region. Each Spring as students in the Paso del Norte region begin looking forward to the end of the school year, it is vital for parents to plan ahead and begin thinking about summer programming to keep youth safe and engaged during the summer school break.

To help families, the BOOST Network has developed a Summer Program Guide as part of the Spring into Summer campaign, that provides parents and guardians with important information on available summer programs in the Paso del Norte region.

Starting May 8th, the Summer Program Guide will become available and the BOOST Network will  be featuring exciting summer programs through the Spring into Summer campaign.
